Christ

With hearts attuned to Christ’s love for the lost, we are committed to evangelism and discipleship. Our mission is to be Spirit-empowered witnesses, leading others to know and follow Jesus faithfully.  We value strengthening the Body of Christ through missions and church planting in partnering with other Churches and Christian organizations.

Centered

The Gospel is the motivating factor that shapes our lives as believers. It is the foundation of our faith and the message of salvation we proclaim. Saved by grace alone by faith alone through Christ alone (Eph2:8-10). Lives are changed not by works, but by the mercy and love of God.  We are governed by the authority of Scripture of both the Old and New Testaments. The Word of God is our guide for living, teaching and decision making.

Community

Cornerstone exists as a place of refuge and renewal, where individuals experience the redemptive grace of Jesus. He is the Cornerstone on which we build, and in whom our lives are deeply rooted.  We value community as members of one another in loving relationships where vulnerability, correction, accountability and restoration are a part of our daily calling to defend and protect it. We value the sanctity of all human life.

Church

As members of Christ’s body, there is a call to Christian maturity. The church, by its nature, is a learning community where individuals grow in their faith and understanding of God’s word, by engaging with God’s word and teachings, believers can discern their calling and contribute to the kingdom of God.  Ephesians 4:13 states, “until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
